Centerline is a linear feature class that represents roads in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin. It contains the low-to-high address ranges for both the left and right sides of roads. This feature class may contain actual high and low or theoretical high and low addresses depending on how the municipality reported their values.
The purpose of the centerline data set is to support address range management. Road centerlines are used for mapping, geocoding, and to support computer-aided dispatching.

This data sets covers all of Manitowoc County. Each municipality was given an opportunity to proof the roads in their jurisdiction for accuracy and completeness. New roads should be reported to the Manitowoc County GIS Office for inclusion in this database. The data set will be reviewed for completness when new orthophotographs are acquired.
Centerline positions are adjusted using the county's latest digital orthophotographs.

Road centerlines were captured by Aero-Metric, Inc. as part of a 2000 digital orthophotograph (DOP) project. Attribute data were added by the Manitowoc County GIS Office using the sources listed. Centerline locations were adjusted by Ayres & Assocaties as part of a 2005 DOP project.
