Abstract:
This data set is a polygon shapefile representing Wisconsin DNR Turkey Management Zones. Turkey Management Zones indicate the areas with various turkey hunting regulations throughout Wisconsin. Hunting regulations may vary between and within zones. Users should consult the most rcent Hunting Regulations Handbook to determine which regulations apply to which zones, or portions of zones. The current version of Turkey Management Zones reflects updates made through October, 2008.
Purpose:
The Turkey Management data includes a Unit_ID identifier, which enables linkage to a variety of Turkey Management related information contained in DNR tabular databases. This data set is intended for use with ArcView, ArcInfo, or other GIS software which support shapefile format.
